Adrian has felt like a nomad ever since he can remember, having lived in 3 provinces before the age of 10. He was never able to sit still and at an early age was diagnosed with ADD. Sort of makes sense since his mind constantly wonders to far off lands and the “what ifs “of hair brained schemes. Researching anything from the fuel economy of old motorcycles to the logistics of crossing dodgy land borders. When Adrian is not travelling or attempting something foolish he is most likely planning for his next (mis)adventure. He is a proud film school dropout and has worked in the film industry in Saskatchewan for the last 7 years. That dream came to an abrupt end last spring when the government unceremoniously cut the film tax credit program that was the lifeblood of the industry. He currently lives in Regina, Saskatchewan(he still doesn’t understand why) with his girlfriend Sara and their two feline roommates.
After getting his first taste of Asia at the age 20, the product of Regina, Saskatchewan was smitten. His appetite for traveling grew as his attention span in the classroom waned. Unable to stay in school for more than a few semesters at a time, Dustin found purpose in being lost overseas. His relentless pursuit of imperfection and disorganization has led him on numerous expeditions of dubious nature. Dustin’s true talent lies in owning maps and guidebooks, but being too lazy to open them. Once on route to Israel from Egypt, Dustin thought it more convenient to enter through the Gaza Strip than a beach resort on the Red Sea. In 2009, through an act of divine intervention, Dustin finally passed a Statistics class and received his BA in Psychology from the University and Regina. He moved to Taiwan in 2010, where he currently teaches English.
Check out the boy's next adventure: South America!
Season 2 ups the adventure as Adrian and Dustin attempt to drive a 198cc 3-wheeled Auto Rickshaw over 10,000kms, the length of South America.
